London Met Police Delivers Key Note Speaker to the International Critical Control Rooms Congress 04-10-2017

Chief Superintendent Dave Jackson will provide Congress with an insight into the challenges associated with maintaining a world class critical control room service while keeping the thousands of staff motivated to deliver.

Today the International Critical Control Rooms Alliance announced the announced the keynote speaker for the International Critical Control Rooms Congress, that will take place on 5 and 7 December at the Kempinski Hotel in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.

In his key note speech, Dave Jackson from the London Metropolitan Police will be discussing, 'The challenge of maintaining a world-class control room'.

The Met Police is a global brand and Scotland Yard is a recognised symbol of excellence in policing and investigation. As a global city, London presents the widest possible set of challenges for policing, many of which become headline news around the world.

Chief Superintendent Dave Jackson is the head of the Met’s directorate that runs its 3 primary control rooms where hundreds of call takers and dispatchers handle over 21,000 requests for assistance per day of which around 6,000 are emergency calls.  Jackson will provide Congress with an insight into the challenges associated with maintaining a world class critical control room service while keeping the thousands of staff motivated to deliver.
